I had the privilege of moderating this career panel with three very accomplished professionals who have achieve success in diverse areas on Wall Street. Thank you so much Dean Mary Pearl for hosting this panel at Macaulay Honors College, and to Angie Kamath and Ka Yee Tom at CUNY Central for helping to make this event happen and getting the word out to other CUNY school campuses!
This discussion focused on providing CUNY students with a real world women’s perspective on Wall Street, the challenges that each panelist has personally experienced, and the roadmap describing how each panelist achieved success and professional fulfillment in this competitive, dynamic business. We hope that this discussion will help lower the mental barriers for young women in the CUNY community who may have not considered Wall Street as a possible career path. We had a great turnout from many CUNY campuses.
